Angela Dwyer

Angela Dwyer is currently Head of Insights at Fullintel—a media monitoring and analysis company. As a measurement expert, she helps brands improve business results through data-driven, actionable insights. She has worked at public relations agencies and media research firms consulting with brands across several industries including consumer, healthcare and automotive. She has presented and published several original, award-winning research papers about news content that drives recall and engagement. As SVP of Measurement at Lippe Taylor, a NYC-based agency, she developed a research-based metric to predict positive recall. Previously, she opened and managed PRIME Research’s new business and operations in Brazil and South America, where she worked with global brands on integrated media measurement projects. She contributes her knowledge garnered from the cross-section of academia and professional experience in several committees and boards including the International Public Relations Measurement Commission and International Public Relations Research Conference Board.

MARIA OLIVEIRA, PH.D.

Research Partner

With more than 15 years of experience in marketing research and communications, Maria applies solid analytical skills to understand and improve business strategies. Over the years she has helped global clients, such as MasterCard, Capital One, Western Union, Citibank, Allergan, Berkshire Hathaway and PepsiCo, to translate communications and marketing research into actionable insights that contribute to business results. With a diverse work experience, Maria held research positions in multiple countries in both academic and corporate environments. As VP of Measurement & Analytics at Edelman Intelligence, she created integrated analytical programs combining social and traditional media listening with primary research to test hypotheses, improve message penetration, and create more effective communication strategies.

Maria’s other professional roles include Project Director & Head of Financial Sector Practice at PRIME Research, Researcher and Faculty at Temple University and UNC–Charlotte and Public Relations Consultant at the Brazilian House of Representatives. During her time as an academic researcher, she had her work published in several renowned academic journals including the Journal of Business Communications, the Journal of Public Relations and the Journal of Public Relations Research. When Maria isn’t analyzing data to uncover insights, she can be found decorating a new corner of her house in modern chic design or rocking her baby girl to sleep.
